TalkSport has published the following

Laurent Koscielny has been offered the chance to end his career back in his homeland with Ligue 1 outfit Rennes, according to reports in the French media.

The 33-year-old centre-half has just 12 months left on his Arsenal contract and his future remains up in the air amid reports Gunners boss Unai Emery could allow him to move on if an acceptable offer comes in.

I suggest that we should seriously consider letting him go for free, he deserves this chance to end his career at home, he has been a great servant for us and we should not stand in his way holding out for a million or two and deny him this opportunity.

Loyalty goes two ways and as a club, we should say thanks and good luck.

He's a commanding international player with bags of PL experience and he can still do a job at the back, and therefore still has value.

However there's nothing we can do to stop him leaving for free at the end of next season and if he decides to do that I won't hold anything against him - he's been a fantastic player for us.

Business is business and money is money, sell him and squeeze out as big a transfer fee we can get.

No brainer
