Eddie Nketiah has scored three goals so far on the mini-tour of the USA but would it be better for both the youngster and Arsenal if he is loaned out for one more season so that he can get more regular football?

It is unlikely that he will feature that often in the Premier League unless there is an injury to either Lacazette and Aubameyang and he will not develop too much on the bench.

But Arsenal does need a backup striker, so what should Unai Emery do?

Unless we buy a new striker, and that is looking highly unlikely, it is impossible to loan him out. I mean we are one 6-8 week injury on Lacazette or Aubameyang from having one striker. And to have one of them injured is not unlikely during the season.

The question is if Nkethia will get enough playing time. If Aubameyang occasionally will be used on a wing, then I think Nkethia can get enough playing time as a sub, in cups and in Europa League.

100% be beneficial to loan him out. He gets crucial game time and widens his experience, his value will likely increase due to this exposure. It also alleviates Arsenal's wage bill a little

It would be possible to loan him out with a clause to recall him. But that rarely seem to happen. I guess it has to do with the loaning club unwilling to loan a player if he suddenly can disappear mid season. He could benefit from a loan move, but there is no guarante that he gets playing time on loan. It has happened that players who are on loan do not get that much game time. Tough call.
