Eight or Nine. As of right now with the current squad, probably just Six.

I would say 12 or 15points. This is why. Arsenal have had a good pre-season with the majority of its players NOT involved in major tournaments over the break, hence most have a good pre-season under their belt. I would expect our first 10 games to be exceptional, then start dropping points. Even without new signings, i was convinced we would finish in the top 4. Now with some of the signings (Cebalos) and the expected (Tierney and Pepe/Zaha). Thats because im convinced the addition will make Mustafi look better than he actually is (offense as defense). I expect we will concede less than last season by a mile

I have a feeling things will improve this season. Yes, I believe we will still be weak defensively, but I do not think we will let in as many goals as last season. This due to the team having had a season under Emery and must be a bit more comfortable in how he wants to play. Also Ceballos and Pepe are brilliant signings that adress needs we have. A proper winger will push the opposing fullback back, meaning less time attacking and that will help our defensive performance. Ceballos could play the Cazorla role, and if Torreira is allowed to play as a DM, we have a midfield that could, hopefully, make Özil play like he did his first season. If Özil starts to find his old form, with Aubameyang, Lacazette and Pepe, we will push teams back much more and produce more goals. This in itself will help our defence. Wishful thinking? Perhaps, but why not?
